Matt Walter

Chairman of the Board

Currently, Matt is the Chairman of Sarnova. He also served as Chairman and CEO of Bound Tree Medical from 2000 to 2009. In 2009, Matt led the formation of Sarnova, Inc. through the merger of Bound Tree Medical and Tri-anim and remained majority shareholder until 2018, when Patricia Industries purchased the controlling interest. Matt is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Talisman Capital Partners. Talisman makes control-type investments in private investment opportunities where Talisman is generally the first outside capital for an enterprise. Matt leads Talisman’s investments in Bond Vet (the U.S.’s first urgent care clinic chain for animals), Advocate Holdings (revenue cycle management solution provider for radiologists), and Sage Integration (corporate security system design and installation). He also manages the Talisman real-estate partnership alongside Lifestyle Communities (developer and owner of approximately 10,000 Class A apartment units across OH, KY, TN, NC, TX). Matt is involved in a number of civic initiatives. He is currently a Board Member and Chair of the Investment Committee of Ohio Health, one of the Midwest’s largest medical systems. He previously served as Chair of the Columbus Foundation, one of the largest community foundations in the country. He has also served on the Boards of The Columbus Academy and I Know I Can (inner city college scholarship program). Matt graduated from Williams College and received his MBA from The Wharton School.
